The AVR-0 is a highly advanced experimental patrol labor manufactured by Shinohara Heavy Industries, which, similarly to the Type Zero, uses HOS as a basis for an operating system

Design & Development

Mechanical Design

The AVR-0 is a prototype labor that bears a strong resemblance to the Type Zero. It's basic interface is similar to the Ingram, though many parts are far more precise than it. Noa Izumi would also comment how the seating quality is much nicer. It lacks patrol lights and has a five-lens camera system behind it's visor, along with a laser scanner in the forehead.

Electronic Design

The labor, similarly to the Type Zero, is made with the intention of using HOS as a basis. It uses the HOS Satellite App Cable Driver, or "HOS-SAD" to not only provide a 30% increase in processing speed and efficiency, but also utilize a dedicated satellite to transmit information to the labor. This in tandem with it's scanner allows the AVR-0 to lock onto any machine, and precisely know it's location without fail. Another aspect about the machine's operating system is that it frequently takes it's own independent action against opponents, which could be to the dismay of the pilot.

In order to use HOS-SAD, an external control vehicle must be present and connected to the AVR-0 called the "Integrated Control System." This is because the processing power required to use HOS-SAD to it's full extent is too immense for the labor on it's own. It can be operated without HOS-SAD, however it requires a complete shut down and reboot before reactivation. Disabling HOS-SAD significantly reduces functionality of the labor.
