The C130 is a transport aircraft that appears in WXIII: Patlabor the Movie 3. It is a jet-powered version of the real-world Lockheed Martin C-130 Hercules transport (particularly based on the C-130T variant). Using jet engines instead of the standard turboprop powerplants allows the C130 to fly faster and at higher altitudes than its predecessor. Outside of the change in propulsion, the C130 is almost entirely identical to the regular C-130, and is therefore smaller than other jet transports, such as the C-4, C-5, and C-17. Its unique combination of the short takeoff and landing characteristics of the C-130 and high speed of the larger jet transports make it a highly versatile aircraft.
