The HL-99 Rex is a second generation construction labor that was manufactured by Hishii Heavy Industries and rolled out December 1998. In contrast to Shinohara Heavy Industries' Boxer, this labor, despite being "rivals" with it, is rarely seen as often due to the high price.
Design & Development[]
Mechanical Systems[]
It has a high-performance trinocular sensor with a fishbowl-like cover and a manipulator for precision work built into the regular manipulator. In addition, the legs, which are divided into the front and rear, have a ground contact area that is nearly double that of Shinohara's Boxer, and the four-point support provides excellent stability. By opening the front and rear legs, you can adjust the height of the machine and the distance to the work target, providing iron-clad safety and reliability for "precision work that is extremely risky and dangerous'' such as construction of large power distribution boards.
Electrical Systems[]
The most important feature of this machine is its ability to perform precision work that is second to none. In addition to regular manipulators, it is also equipped with a dedicated small manipulator, and the highly accurate three-lens camera on the head can be switched to night vision images and enlarged images. A closed cockpit that is free from poor visibility due to weather, with digitally corrected "hands on hand."
