General Information[]
Liu is the Far East manager who oversees Shaft Enterprises' Asian branch offices. He recovers the Bud and the Griffon after he crashed into Tokyo Bay, and in the manga is later asked by Utsumi to take over Griffon's technology (which cannot be put on the market through regular means). There are moments where he provokes Utsumi by pointing out that Griffon hasn't won against Ingram, resulting in him setting up a battle between the AVR-0 and The Griffon. He owns large ships such as the Sangria and the Great Wall, which were used as escape destinations by Planning Section 7. The Great Wall appears in On Television in name only.
