Mikogami is a manga exclusive character that is the head of Shaft Enterprises Japan's inspection department, assigned to the task of investigating the flow of money in Planning Section 7 by Tokunaga. Despite the fact that she's the head of the Inspection Department, she doesn't leave the work to her subordinates. She personally carries out the actual investigation work. She is shown to be completely absorbed in the online hacking battle with Planning Division 7 against Midorikawa, forgetting to eat and sleep as a result.
