Momoko Sakurayama was a journalist/reporter. She was always looking for the latest scoop, and discovered that interesting things were always happening around Section 2. While reporting on SV2 happenings she had interactions with Isao Ohta and Noa Izumi. Noa Izumi was chosen for an interview, as Section 2's "Star Pilot". Kiichi Goto was ok with the interview as long as it did not interfere with her( Noa Izumis) duties as a mecha pilot. Izumi got caught up in the glamor of being on TV, and to SV2's surprise even tried to show off a more feminine side for the TV. ( Momoko Encouraged this behavior ) Despite being a great journalist she always wound up right in the middle of the action and even caused trouble for SV2. Despite writing some negative things about SV2, she respected Captain Goto and SV2 enough to not write or report on certain things at his request.
She later helped SV2 uncover the man behind the Griffin Labor case.
