A Revolver Cannon is a projectile weapon developed for use by patlabors. There are several varieties, but most are fashioned after real-world revolver pistols. Most revolver cannons could be loaded with paint rounds for training purposes, and all on-screen revolvers could store 6 rounds. The revolver cannon provides enough stopping power to incapacitate most labors, but is precise enough to minimize the risk of collateral damage.

Training Type[]
The Training Revolver Cannon was a weapon equipped on the AV-98T Dolphin. It was used during combat simulations and fired paint rounds only. Dolphins equipped with the training type would be used by the Metropolitan Police training center to train pilots transitioning to the AV-98 Ingram.
37mm Type[]
The 37mm Revolver Cannon was Shinohara Heavy Industries' (SHI) weapon of choice for its second-generation patlabors. The Ingram, Economy, and Economy Mk.II were all equipped with the 37mm type. This revolver could be loaded with paint rounds, allowing it to be used for training and making it a more versatile weapon.
42mm Type[]
The 42mm Revolver Cannon was the weapon used by Schaft's SRX-70, and was the highest caliber weapon carried by a second-generation patlabor. The type would be replaced by a 42mm automatic cannon on the SR-70 Saturn.
44mm Type[]
The 44mm Revolver Cannon was used by SHI's third-generation patlabors. In the Television Timeline, only the AV-0 Peacemaker would be equipped with the 44mm type, but in the Original Timeline, both the AV-X0 Prototype and AV-02 Valiant would carry the type.
