Section 2 Division 2 Team 2: Joined Section 2 shortly after Clancy's tenure ended, she takes Clancy's place as backup to Unit 2. She trained with the Hong Kong Police Force before getting assigned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She was then offered a position with Interpol but ended up choosing the Special Vehicles department to continue her career.
Personality[]
Takeo Kumagami, similarly to Kanuka Clancy, is a serious by the book officer who holds up a constant professional attitude. Calm and confident, Kumagami attends to her duties as effectively as Clancy did, but has different ideas about how to go about it. This allows her to be able to handle Ohta's reckless behavior while backing him up via squad car. Despite being not only skilled in wit and commanding, she is easily scared and flustered in certain situations. Most notably she has a deep fear of the occult and abnormal, fainting multiple times at the idea of seeing a real ghost or the loch ness monster.
Biography[]
Takeo Kumagami was born in Nishinomiya, Hyogo 1971, making her 27 years old as of 1998. Her father was involved in the investigated of paranormal activity at Keika's Women's University, and would always share his findings with Kumagami. Because of this, she would develop a long lasting fear of the paranormal and supernatural for years to come. Eventually she would join the military, becoming rank sergeant, and being dispatched to Hong Kong. There she would meet her future love interest, Richard Wong, in a restaurant, and due to her strong attraction to him, they booked a motel together. One day, Wong is called by his shady business, presumably the same involved with the Griffon project, and leaves unexpectedly. He left just a single letter saying goodbye to Kumagami. Meanwhile she studied the martial art of Judo, achieving the rank of black belt and the nickname "jackknife" due to her excellent shoulder throwing capabilities. Eventually she would join Special Vehicles Section 2 Division 2, as unit 2's backup command car, effectively replacing Kanuka Clancy following her departure.

Despite being told supernatural stories as a kid by her father , she has a very strong fear of ghosts and other supernatural things.
