Tsutomu Gomioka is a member of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department Special Vehicles Unit Section 2, Division 1, where he serves as a patlabor pilot. In all incarnations, he is a competent, by-the-books pilot who is able to get the most out of his equipment. He is not very close to any members of Division 2, so he does not get a major amount of screentime in any timeline.
General Information[]
As stated before Gomioka is the pilot of machine 1 for Division 1, upholding the cleaner and upstanding reputation his Division is known for. Despite this, he often finds himself envious of Division 2 for having access to the more advanced Patrol Labors, the Ingrams. Not just that, he'll sometimes find himself at odds with Shinobu, who would much rather surpass Division 2 in terms of equipment rather than just being on par with them. He's fourth rank in judo, third in kenod, and second in alkido.
