Design & Development

The Shenlong Appears in the PC-980 game PATLABOR OPERATION TOKYO BAY. It's a security labor developed by Schaft Enterprise Asia. It is characterized by a shape reminiscent of a griffon and four arms of different sizes. By adopting the "ASURA" for its OS, both its mobility and combat capabilities have been vastly improved, and its specifications surpass all previous Labors. Although it's only equipped with a stun stick, it's power alone can disable a labor in just a single swing. However, because it's intended for civilian use as a security labor, the armor was intentionally made thin. It's excellent maneuverability and reduced chance of being hit by bullets greatly compensates for it's lack of defensive capabilities.

The development history is not clear, but there is a lot of information that suggests a connection with the Griffon, such as its external appearance, ultra-high performance, adoption of "ASURA", and the fact that Shenlong is also capable of flight.
