The Uhu can be considered an improved and developed version of the Brocken, developed by Schaft Enterprises Europe.
Design & Development[]
The Uhu is specialized labor with nighttime combat capabilities and is equipped with an upgraded version of the "LLLTV2", a high-resolution night vision camera that originally was installed on it's predecessor the Brocken.
The Brocken itself suffered from a shortage of pilots, as the labor couldn't utilize it's full capabilities unless the pilot had at least 200 hours of training. However, by adopting the HNCS (Hyper nerve control system), the auto balancer and motor capabilities can be maximized to 120%, making it possible for even non-experienced pilots to achieve power and maneuverability on par with that of the Brocken.
The previous drive system has been completely overhauled, with the output of the SCLM (Superconducting Linear Motor) has been increased by 125%. The manipulators on the arms combine high durability on par with work machinery with the fine movements and dexterity of a person, making them more than adequate for combat against other labors. In addition to the reinforced steel composite armor also used in the Brocken, reactive armor is also fitted, mainly to the chest area. This is made of a material so thin that it isn't noticeable upon first glance, and has 40% improved absorbency compared to conventional armor. Improved operability and quality of life have also been achieved, with the cockpit being approximately 1.2 times the size of the Brocken. It also has good water resistance, and comes with a wide range of dedicated firearms.
At the request of NATO, 2000 September 1, the first delivery of 30 aircraft is scheduled to begin on .
